CBRE LAND SERVICES GROUP

DESIGN PROSE
Medium: InDesign, Photoshop
Styles & Techniques: Print Design, Advertising
As part of my interview process, I was asked to create a sample general flyer for CBRE Land Services Group. This take-home assignment was designed to showcase my design skills, experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and my ability to adhere to CBRE's branding guidelines while creating an appealing, eye-catching, and straightforward design.
SOURCES OF INSPIRATION
I intended to create a flyer design from scratch while remaining mindful of CBRE’s existing brand image and guidelines. Considering such, although my design evidently incorporates CBRE’s established colours, fonts, and fragments of pre-existing adverts and templates, the final product further incorporates imagery, including icons and the Property’s photographs.

Existing Callout Template

CBRE Brand Colours

Social Media Announcement. I took a liking to the decorative Celadon-coloured rectangular accent underneath the main banner. Added a finished look overall.

Social Media Advert. Brokers were displayed nicely, and I appreciated the use of line accents and different coloured boxes to separate information. Property photos were also displayed prominently.
FINAL VERSION
The original callout template draws more attention to the text, specifically the name and address of the property. My flyer template, in contrast, places the property’s photos front and centre, the eye-popping imagery instantly catching the reader’s eye and enticing them to explore the rest of the flyer for further information. The final product also heavily incorporates CBRE's darker greens to ensure text is legible and prominent. Darker colours also ensure that the bright and colourful photographs stand out even more.
