Medium: Microsoft PowerPoint
Styles & Techniques: Publication Design, Interactive PDFs
During my Summer 2021 internship, I assisted the London Goodenough Association of Canada (LGAC) in addressing its lack of a well-established brand image and general public awareness. To tackle this issue, I aimed to create a cohesive identity for the LGAC and its parent college across all promotional materials. This included a major overhaul of the plain and verbose formats of their existing monthly newsletter, event invitations, and official website. Additional objectives of the rebranding effort were to enhance their social media presence and increase user traffic.l media presence and increase user traffic.

Highlights (Final Copy)

The LGAC newsletter was my largest project, and I was involved from its early stages to the final publication. As shown here, the newsletter was redesigned according to the marketing committee's guidelines to achieve a more image-focused, colorful, and cleaner layout. I was also tasked with ensuring that the colors aligned with those of its parent institution, Goodenough College. The modernization of the newsletter was designed to facilitate easy translation into social media content. This design shift was crucial to the rebranding effort, providing a cohesive look and feel to the LGAC brand as a whole.

Tooltip Version

I used my extensive knowledge of creating low and medium-fidelity mockups in Balsamiq to create in-depth mockups for the prospective reworking of the LGAC's webpage. I particularly played with the tooltip and lightbox features that I recently learned about in my programming courses, knowing that they would create an easier manner of interacting with and viewing the new site's various elements, such as event photographs.
